Tabi and Tabby, Maison Margiela (2026)
Mock Campaign
Personifying the iconic Tabi flats using a play on words of “tabi” and “tabby” cats. The tabi shoe is designed ergonomically to recreate the feet’s natural movements, allowing wearers to feel light, stable and distribute weight evenly - much like a cat. This campaign uses visuals of a feline to reflect the movement and aesthetic of Tabi flats, portraying elegance and sophistication.

Poster painted using oil paint on paper, using the same monochrome palette as the animation video. Featuring the same cat curled up with its paws inside Tabi flats. Reflecting the appeal of the shoes and its adjacencies with the nature of a feline: graceful yet agile.

Depicts the personification of Tabi flats and the paws of tabby cats in both visuals but also movement. Tabi shoes are designed for comfort and mobility, similar to the agility and grace of a feline.
